After searching for the right company to hike Kili, we came across Unique Pathways. The deciding factor for our group of 2, was the willingness of the owner Nelson to always respond to our questions and requests about the littlest details for our trip. He even added in useful tips that we didn't think of coupled with a really competitive price.
It's been the second time I come to Tanzania and every time I can trust Nelson to prepare it really well! It is not only about the event itself but also all the preparation phase of before travel. This time I did Kilimanjaro with Nickson and John and they were great guides, always willing to help, making sure that every details count. Food was great, it felt like being back home as the food was really tasty.
Nelson and his team at Unique Pathways were brilliant! Our group of 7 had a great time in Tanzania and climbing Kilimanjaro was an experience I will never forget. Nelson had lightning speed responsiveness and always went the extra mile to make sure our group was comfortable. Our lead guide Nickson and his team were some of the most compassionate and caring people we met.

Nelson who runs the company is a sereios and dedicated man. He took care of every single need we had, allwayes available to answer any question.
We contacted Alex following some friends’ recommendation and his company was up to par. We had such an amazing experience climbing Kili with my two friends. The party was made of 16 porters, 2 guides and 1 chef (just for the 3 of us). The organisation was flawless and the people were great. We then did a 3 day safari through Serengeti and ngorongoro and this was so much above expectations.
Kilimanjaro hike was extremely challenging to me. Lots of obstacles to overcome: cold, altitude, exhaustion and so on. I wouldn't be able to reach the top without the team. The whole trip was perfectly crafted in order to make sure we make it. We had all the necessary equipment, encouragement, and care.
